• ELIGIBILITY
Ages 15 to Adult
Instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass
• Books I & II Fundamental Teacher Training
Available to all players who wish to explore the possibilities of teaching string instruments using the O’Connor Method materials. Training includes thorough look at all teaching points in the progression of the fundamental level. Orchestra Books I & II are also covered. Teachers already certified in the O'Connor Method Books I & II that want to explore the materials in these books further and meet other certified teachers with Mr. O'Connor hosting are encouraged to enroll.
• Books III & IV Teacher Training
Available to players who have already taken teacher training in Books I & II of the O'Connor Method and wish to further their knowledge of the materials in Books III & IV. Teachers already certified in the O'Connor Method Books III & IV that want to explore the materials in these books further and meet other certified teachers with Mr. O'Connor hosting are encouraged to enroll.
Note: We do not provide O'Connor Method books for the Teacher Training courses. We encourage teachers to purchase O'Connor Method books for the appropriate classes beforehand to become familiar with the materials. Books can be purchased HERE
• DAILY ACTIVITIES (9:00 am – 6:00 pm).
Note: For teacher trainees, regular classes end at 3:50pm
Daily student recital and jam session are optional but highly encouraged!

• CONCERTS/EVENTS
Check in begins at 5:00pm, Orientation and Faculty Introduction at 6:00pm on Sunday July 30, 2017

Electives Concert Thursday August 3, 2017 at 7:30pm featuring teacher-led class groups
Finale Concert Friday August 4, 2017 at 7:30pm with the O'Connors, students, teacher trainees and faculty

Registration Fee $ 50.00 ($100 by July 1, 2017)
Tuition $550.00
Ticket for Finale Concert (featuring all students and faculty) Friday August 4, 2017 at 7:30pm: $10
Important Note: Registrations are not valid until registration fee and tuition are paid in full. Enrollments operate on a first come first serve basis. There will be no refunds after July 1, 2017. Registration fee is $100 by July 1, 2017.
• LODGING/MEALS
Lodging by individual arrangement: Hotel recommendation information is available on the FAQ page. Meals are not provided at the O'Connor Method Camp NYC. The Richmond Room will be available daily for all camp participants bringing their lunch.
• WHAT TO BRING
Camp participants should bring a music stand, O'Connor Method book(s), their instrument(s), lunch if planning to eat at the school, and know their individual schedules given at check in.
